In this talk we will report on the effect of a spatiotemporal forcing
applied on Turing stripe patterns under spatial resonance. An unexpected
symmetry-breaking phenomenon, leading to hexagonal lattices, has been found
in experiments performed with the photosensitive CDIMA reaction, forced
with light passing through a travelling mask. We will propose and analyse
a
theoretical framework which allows the understanding of the experimental
observations.
