Instructions for Presenters

Abstract formats

All the participants should submit an Abstract up to four pages long not later than May 5th, 2003, in order it can appear in the abstract's book.

The Abstract should be written following the format of the Latex or Word macros: absTC2003.tex, absTC2003.pdf, absTC2003.doc. They MUST be translated to Portable Document Format (PDF) before submission to the Conference site.

The Abstract will be reproduced, as submitted and unchanged, in the Book of Abstracts of the Conference, with the aim to provide and overall insight of the presentation. The book of Abstracts will be provided to every participant as part of the registration fee.

Oral Presentations

Media: Oral presentations can be made via transparencies on an overhead projector or using a computer projection system (Acrobat, Netscape or PowerPoint). No slide projector or video projector will be available unless the workshop organizers are notified by June 15.

Length: Oral presentations are allotted 20 minutes. The presentation should be 15 minutes or less. The remaining 5 minutes is for questions and to change speakers. Please do not plan a talk longer than 15 minutes (15-25 slides).

Computer Projection: Netscape, Adobe Acrobat or PowerPoint may be used for computer presentations.

Poster Presentations

Schedule: All posters will be presented on Friday evening (July 4) from 18 to 19. Poster authors are expected to remain near their poster.

Papers Table

All Workshop participants are invited to bring reprints of recent papers to the Workshop. The reprints will be placed on a "Papers Table", so other Workshop participants can pick up copies of your recent publications.

All Workshop participants are also invited to bring pdf files of recent papers, that will be posted in the Workshop web page.
